Talk2Europe connects teachers across Europe for language and cultural exchange. The public flow is simple: create a teacher profile with school and subject details, search for guest teachers by language skills and availability, then connect to plan a lesson together. The mission is to foster international collaboration among teachers and promote cultural exchange.

The product focuses on making the connection easy and trustworthy: scheduling supports recurring weekly availability and one-time slots with timezone awareness, while the social layer supports confirmed connections plus safety and quality signals like ratings, reporting, and basic usage analytics.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Next.js (React), Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui
  • Backend: Node.js + TypeScript + Express
  • Data/Auth: Firebase (Firestore + Auth) via Firebase Admin
