MOBILedit Forensic is a digital forensics suite by Compelson that acquires and analyzes data from mobile devices and produces investigator-ready reports. It supports logical and physical acquisition, retrieves deleted data, and provides advanced application analysis with timeline-style context and readable reports. The platform includes security bypassing, live updates, concurrent extractions, Smart Screenshots for app evidence capture, and cloud forensics support.
My Contributions
- Built parser modules for iOS and Android applications to extract and interpret app data
- Reverse-engineered app storage (filesystem layouts, databases, and binary formats)
- Analyzed 50+ apps to document storage patterns and version-specific edge cases
- Fixed bugs, optimized modules, and improved stability for production releases
- Created internal debugging tools to speed up analysis and validation
